House passes resolution condemning Harris' work as border czar, failing to secure southern border

The GOP-led House passed a resolution "strongly condemning" Vice President Kamala Harris, now the top 2024 Democratic presidential candidate, for her performance as the border czar.

The resolution, introduced by Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., House Republican conference chair, formally condemns the administration for failing to "secure the U.S. border," pointing to 9.7 million illegal immigrant encounters nationwide since January 2021 and refers to Harris and President Biden's "Border Czar."
