During a speech in Pittsburgh, Kamala Harris came up with less of a word salad and more of a word soup that perfectly encapsulates her campaign’s total lack of substance.
Harris was supposed to be outlining her economic policy, but because she doesn’t have one, the speech was just one long diatribe of empty platitudes.
Harris spoke of the ‘American spirit’, without detailing what that is.
She stated, “We need to guard that spirit. We have to guard that spirit. Let it always inspire us. Let it always be the source of our optimism, which is that spirit that is so uniquely American. And let that then inspire us by helping us to be inspired to solve the problems that so many face.”

There are problems with the economy, but there’s a spirit, and that spirit can inspire us, so let that spirit inspire us to be inspired and then the economy will be inspired and the spirit will inspire the economy and the problems will stop… or something.
