Kamala Harris Says The American Dream Is “Gone”

Kamala Harris Says The American Dream Is “Gone”

Why might that be?

During a pre recorded interview, Kamala Harris once again failed to deliver any substantive outline of her policies, primarily attacking Donald Trump’s outlook and his first term in office. At one point when speaking about the economy, Harris appeared to suggest, in stark contrast to Trump, that the American Dream is dead and buried.

MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle asked Harris why so many Americans “don’t see themselves in your plans,” to which Harris responded with a word salad about “the spirit and character of the American people,” before blathering on about her childhood.

Harris said “my mother raised my sister and me. She worked hard. She saved up. By the time I was a teenager, she was able to buy our first home. And homeownership for too many people in our country now is elusive. You know, gone is the day of everyone thinking they could actually live the American dream.”

Come again?

“So part of my vision for the economy is, let’s deal with some of the everyday challenges that people face and address them with common sense solutions, such as affordable housing,” Harris further stated.

Again, nothing specific and an empty declaration that the people’s belief in the American Dream is gone.

When she talks about cutting bureaucracy to build affordable housing, the question remains, why hasn’t she done that AT ALL for the past three and a half years?

Elsewhere, Harris attacked Trump, saying “he’s just not very serious about how he thinks about some of these issues,” adding “And one must be serious and have a plan, and a real plan that’s not just about some talking point.”

Ironic to say the least.

Harris regularly fell back to attacking Trump with completely lies about the economy in his first term.

When she is asked to give specific outlines of what she’s going to do about specific aspects of the economy, she’s got nothing at all.

There’s nothing there.

After the airing of the interview, Ruhle admitted that Harris didn’t give clear direct answers to her questions, and laughably claimed “that’s okay, because we’re not talking about clear and direct issues.”

Harris also spoke at a rally in Pittsburgh Wednesday and stated that “We just need to move beyond the failed policies that we have proven don’t work. And, like generations before us, be inspired by what’s possible.”

She finally said something Americans can get behind.
