The Trump campaign has issued a statement saying it will not commit to a date for a VP debate yet because they don’t know who the Democratic nominee is going to be.
Trump Campaign Senior Advisor Brian Hughes stated “We don’t know who the Democrat nominee for Vice President is going to be, so we can’t lock in a date before their convention.”
Huges added that “To do so would be unfair to Gavin Newsom, JB Pritzker, Gretchen Whitmer, or whoever Kamala Harris picks as her running mate.”
Oof. What a shit show the Democrats are putting on.
The comments came after Harris accepted an invitation from CBS News to participate in a televised debate with JD Vance next month.
The Trump campaign has a point. Biden himself is now saying he’s more receptive to ending his campaign and allowing Harris to become the nominee.
In addition, it is apparent that half the Party, including Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Obama want Biden gone.
Biden also admitted in an interview on Wednesday that he would consider making way if he is diagnosed with a “medical condition” by his doctors.
Just hours later Biden’s team announced he was “sick” in a two word tweet, to much mockery.
