Governor Wes Moore declared a state of emergency Tuesday morning in response to a catastrophic collision, which happened around 1:30 am.

The Singaporean-flagged Dali, just 20 minutes into its journey, collided with a support column on Baltimore's Key Bridge, causing it to collapse and leaving six construction workers missing.

Maryland authorities are actively employing sonar detection devices to locate the crew members who plunged into the 47F water while repairing potholes on the 185-foot bridge at the time of its collapse, The Daily Mail reports.

The cause of the crash remains uncertain. Video footage indicates that the ship lost power moments before the collision, implying a possible onboard power failure. The crew of 22, who were aboard during the incident, are currently undergoing questioning by the Coast Guard.

“This ship was cyber-attacked,” internet personality Andrew Tate theorized on X. “Lights go off and it deliberately steers towards the bridge supports. Foreign agents of the USA attack digital infrastructures.”

“Nothing is safe,” he added. “Black Swan event imminent.

InfoWars’ Alex Jones responded to the Tate post, stating, “Looks deliberate to me. A cyber-attack is probable. WW3 has already started..”

Other X users shared similar theories to Tate and Jones, with some questioning the bizarre loss of power before the incident.

“This looks pretty deliberate to me. It rammed straight into one of the supports,” wrote Natalie F Danelishen of the Free Cities Foundation.

Investigative journalist Lara Logan shared that “The GPS systems that drive these boats are not encrypted.”

“When a Navy ship crashed into a cargo ship not that long ago, it was a cyber attack that made that happen,” she added.

In response, an account by the name of ZNO highlighted The Executive Director of DHS Cyber Security Agency, Brandon Wales, stating last year, “It is very clear that Chinese attempts to compromise critical infrastructure are in part to pre-position themselves to be able to disrupt or destroy that critical infrastructure in the event of a conflict…”

“…to either prevent the United States from being able to project power into Asia or to cause societal chaos inside the United States—to affect our decision-making around a crisis,” he continued.

In the latest update from officials, Moore stated that divers and air assets are actively engaged in efforts to “save lives” and assured the public that updates will be provided as the rescue operation progresses.

“I recognize that many of us are hurting and scared right now,” the Democrat said just before 10am.

“I want to be clear, we are still investigating what happened, but our preliminary findings points to an accident, we haven't seen any credible evidence of a terrorist attack.”

FBI special agent in charge of the Baltimore office William DelBagno also signed no ties “to terrorism in this incident.”
