Matt Walsh has criticized President Joe Biden in perhaps his most unsparing terms so far, calling the ostensibly Catholic President a “demon” in response to Biden's declaration of “Transgender Visibility Day” on the same day as the most important day on the Catholic liturgical calendar.

On Friday, President Biden released a statement titled “A Proclamation on Transgender Day of Visibility, 2024,” which recognizes March 31st as a day “honor the extraordinary courage and contributions of transgender Americans.”

Matt Walsh, who has previously made no secret of his political disagreements with the President, did not mince words in his evisceration of this proclamation, even identifying President Biden as a “demon” in his attack.

“I have as low an opinion of Biden as you can possibly have and yet this is so outrageously evil that I had to check to make sure it was real. It is,” Walsh wrote.

“Our 'catholic' president has chosen the highest holiday on the Christian calendar to celebrate transgenderism. This man is a demon.”

The concurrence of the Transgender Day of Visibility with Easter Sunday in the Western Christian liturgical calendar is likely accidental, as March 31st has been the assigned day for “Transgender Day of Visibility” for several years, while the exact date of Easter Sunday varies based on lunisolar criteria. The Biden has recognized the observance on March 31st since 2021.
