From Ron DeSantis to now Megyn Kelly, yesterday's foes and agitators to former President Donald Trump have now become full-throated allies in the hours since his historic guilty verdict in the Manhattan hush money trial.

“It's a before and after moment for America,” Kelly said on her SiriusXM show Thursday evening. “What just happened today is a line we can't uncross.”

The former Fox News host, who famously sparred with Trump following a 2016 GOP presidential debate, added that she believes the only way to rectify Trump's crucifixion in the American justice system is to start throwing Democrats in jail.

“Democrats will rue the day they decided to use lawfare to stop a presidential candidate. I'm not talking about violence. I'm talking about tit-for-tat – you just wait, and it won't be Hunter Biden the next time,” she warned.

“It's going to be Joe Biden. It could potentially still be Barack Obama. It could still potentially be Hillary Clinton. We're going to have to look at what the statutes of limitations are on the various crimes they surely committed. We're going to have to look at passing laws to revive those dead crimes, felonies or misdemeanors, so that those cases can be brought out of time. That's what may be in the interest of justice, just like what they did for E. Jean Carroll with the New York state law that was passed so that she could sue him. That's what happened.”

“Turnabout is fair play,” she continued, citing a National Review article by George W. Bush-era White House attorney John Yoo who predicted “that's the only way they'll learn.”

“The only way to save the Republic now is to give them a taste of their own medicine. That's it. That's it. They tasted blood today. They're the wolves with the bloody piece of meat in their mouths. That doesn't stop the wolf from coming back for more.”

WATCH:

Like Kelly, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has turned around since an acrimonious exit from the 2024 presidential race, pledging to raise at least $10 million for President Trump's campaign and several supporting super PACs. MAGA supporters temporarily took the Trump campaign website offline following the verdict as they rushed to donate more than $34 million to its coffers in the first 24 hours. Several high net-worth conservative donors also announced they would immediately write six-figure checks to Trump and Trump-aligned PACs.

Another element of Trump's success that Democrats don't understand, according to Kelly, is his rise in the polls, especially among blue-collar voters and Americans of color. She mocked former Clinton advisor George Stephanopoulos for “struggling” to find an “outrage vein” after he grilled New Hampshire’s Republican Governor Chris Sununu on his pledge to support former President Donald Trump in November.

“It’s amazing,” Kelly said, referencing the ABC reporter’s impaired understanding of Republicans. “Like, he doesn’t get it. He doesn’t get it!”

“Like, the right half of the country doesn’t see these things as rising to the level of criminality,” she continued according to the Daily Caller. “They haven’t been treated as crimes when we had the so-called insurrections by the Democrats challenging elections or turning over police stations as we talked about earlier. Setting them on fire, courthouse as well. All just completely ignored.”
