Reese Witherspoon is saying goodbye to her furry best friend. The Hollywood star revealed the heart-wrenching news that her Labrador, Hank, who was a cherished part of her family for over a dozen years, has passed away at the age of 14.

Witherspoon shared a touching tribute on her Instagram, posting a photo of the beloved Hank posing in front of a welcome mat by the front door. “We will miss your sweet spirit, Hank,” Witherspoon wrote. “Thank you for being the best family pet and the pack leader,” accompanied by a pink heart and a dove emoji.

Ava Phillippe, Witherspoon’s 24-year-old daughter, also took to Instagram to commemorate Hank, posting a heartfelt message alongside a snapshot of the adorable pup. “14 ½ years of pure love & constant tail wagging. The job was ‘family pet’ & he excelled at it,” she wrote. Ava fondly recalled Hank’s ever-optimistic outlook, thanking him for the joyful reminder: “Thanks Hanky for reminding us that every day is the best day ever.”
