Multiple Netflix Offices Raided in Alleged Tax Fraud Investigation

The offices of U.S. streaming giant Netflix were raided by tax investigators in France and the Netherlands as part of a preliminary investigation into alleged tax fraud laundering, a French judicial source revealed.

Reuters reports the French investigation, carried out by the PNF, a special financial crime prosecution unit notorious for pursuing high-stakes white-collar probes that often involve large international companies, was opened in November 2022.

Investigators specialising in financial crime and corruption raided the company’s offices in central Paris as part of the move.

Dutch authorities were simultaneously searching the company’s European headquarters in Amsterdam, the French judicial source told Reuters.

North Korea fires multiple ballistic missiles toward the sea ahead of U.S. election

North Korea on Tuesday (November 5, 2024) fired multiple short-range ballistic missiles toward its eastern sea, the South Korean military said, as the country continued its weapons demonstrations hours before the U.S. presidential election.

South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff didn’t immediately specify the number of missiles detected or how far they flew. Japan’s Defense Ministry said the missiles were believed to have already landed at sea and there were no immediate reports of damages.

The US military is set to conduct a test launch of a hypersonic nuclear missile hours after polls close on Election Day.

An unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) is scheduled to blast off between 11:01pm and 5:01am PT from California‘s Vandenberg Space Force Base.

Some Americans have expressed concerns about the nuclear weapon test on the same day as the country is casting their votes for the next president.

But military officials noted that the ‘test is routine and was scheduled years in advance.’

They said the purpose of the test was to show the ‘readiness of nuclear US forces’ and provide ‘confidence in the nation’s nuclear deterrence’ amid fears of the growing threat of the outbreak of World War III.

New details were released on Monday regarding the far-left organizations behind the fraudulent ballot registrations dumped in several counties in Pennsylvania and in Maricopa County in Arizona.

As reported earlier, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania city officials announced nine days ago that they were investigating a massive fraudulent voter registration operation involving thousands of fraudulent voter registrations. At least 2,500 ballot registrations were in question. 60% of the 2,500 registrations were found to be fraudulent.

Days later, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, announced that they were also investigating hundreds of fake ballot registrations that were turned in recently by a questionable voter registration group. Lancaster, Monroe and York Counties in Pennsylvania reported similar criminal acts and they are investigating.

At least two Pennsylvania counties reported that Field+Media Corps was behind the thousands of fraudulent registrations. The ballot registration harvesting group is based in Arizona.

The RNC released a statement on Friday regarding the growing fraudulent registration scandal in Pennsylvania. The RNC demanded a swift and thorough investigation into the alleged fraudulent registration scheme.
