UPDATE: Rhode Island Ice Rink Sh**ter Suspect Identified as “Transgender” Father

In a horrifying, but sadly, not surprising update, it turns out that the suspected gunman who opened fire at a high school boys’ hockey game in Rhode Island was a transgender father.

His name was Robert Dorgan, but he had started going by the name “Roberta Esposito.”

The shooting was not random. He targeted his own family before taking his own life.

BREAKING: Roberta Esposito or Roberta Dorgano on X is being reported as the shooter at Dennis M. Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, during a high school senior night.

Three people have been confirmed dead, including the shooter.

A woman stated earlier today that her father was the shooter, had mental health issues, and was very sick.

It has also been reported that the shooter was wearing women’s clothing.

“Roberta Dorgano” on X is confirmed to have been transgender his whole life.

A local news channel interviewed a woman who claimed to be the shooter’s daughter and said her father was “very sick”:

Local news outlet WJAR was the first to report that the shooter was a transgender man:

Goncalves said the shooting appears a family dispute led to the violence.

She said police were still gathering information from witnesses, saying that they have interviewed around 100 witnesses as of Monday night.

“It appears that this was a targeted event, that it may be a family dispute,” Goncalves said. “We cannot release the names of the victims because obviously, we want to speak to the family, make sure the family is well aware of what happened before we release that information publicly.”

NBC 10’s Dan Jaehnig reported, citing a law enforcement source, that the suspect was a father, who may have been dressed in women’s clothing, and that he intentionally targeted family members who were at the hockey game.

Goncalves said police were not involved in the suspect’s death.

One young girl died at the scene.

Four other victims were hospitalized, and one has since died.

The other three are still in critical condition.

Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves said at a press conference that three people are dead and three people have been hospitalized in what she said seems like “a targeted event.”

“We have just received word that there was a third victim that is now deceased at the hospital,” Goncalves told reports. “We have three people that were also injured that are at the hospital.”

She initially said those victims were in serious condition, but later said they were in critical condition.

The suspected shooter is among the dead, Goncalves said.

She also said the shooting is not believed to be random…

Chief Tina Goncalves of the Pawtucket Police Department identified the suspected shooter.

“We have identified the person, the suspect, by a birth name, the birth name was Robert Dorgan,” Goncalves said. “We have also learned that the person does go by the name of Roberta, also uses a last of Esposito.”

The suspect was born in 1969, said Goncalves, who added that family members and a family friend were affected.

Police have identified the suspect responsible for the horrific shooting at Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Robert Dorgan, who also went by the name Roberta Esposito, shot four family members and a family friend at a youth hockey game, killing two and injuring three others before killing himself.

Some locals have reported that they saw Dorgan purchasing ammunition at a Cabela’s just yesterday.

A sick, mentally-deranged father dressed as a woman killed his own family at an ice rink.

This is insanely sad and tragic.

But, unfortunately, it’s only the latest in a long pattern of violence committed by mentally-sick “transgenders.”
