President Donald Trump criticized the judge overseeing Charlie Kirk's murder trial, arguing that the proceedings should move forward much faster, calling for justice for Kirk.
On Friday, Trump took to Truth Social stating that Judge Tony Graf is "desecrating" Kirk's memory after Tyler Robinson's defense team proposed a tentative trial start date in the third quarter of 2029.
"The judge in the Charlie Kirk case is doing a terrible job! This case should be tried within a month, not three years — and it should be over with! President Donald Trump touted his administration's investment of $250 million toward hiring nurses for nursing and assisted living homes across the country while continuing his midterm campaign tour with a stop in Fort Myers, Florida.

President Donald Trump has called for U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar to immediately resign or be removed by Congress after recent reports showed she used a "fake name" when she was sworn in.
Thursday night, Trump reacted to the new revelations about the congresswoman, including her response when asked if she had a biological relation to her ex-husband: "Not to my knowledge."

A Central Park tradition spanning more than 150 years is coming to an abrupt end now that horse-drawn carriages will be banned across New York City.
On Thursday, the ban passed with a veto-proof 40–7 vote and two abstentions, defeating a last-minute attempt to push its rollout back to 2030.
Starting June 1, 2028, horse-drawn carriages will be completely outlawed across all five boroughs. For roughly 200 carriage drivers, that means their livelihoods — and an entire historic industry — will vanish from the city in less than two years,

Williams passed for 308 yards and two touchdowns, and the Bears cooled off Drake Maye and the New England Patriots with a 30-24 victory Thursday night.

First Lady Melania Trump has helped broker a localized ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine to allow for humanitarian aid and a civilian evacuation.
On Friday, the White House announced that the temporary ceasefire will begin on October 29th so that civilians in the front-line city of Oleshky can evacuate through a "designated safe passageway."

President Donald Trump has released a new look at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, announcing that cameras were installed to monitor and protect against any future vandalism at the national monument he refurbished this year.
Overnight on Thursday, Trump declared that the pool had been refilled after alleged vandals peeled up the newly installed swimming pool lining and flooded it with algae this summer, causing his team to drain it for more repairs in July.
