Two people have been charged with murdering a three-year-old boy from London, including his mother.
Tanisha Henry and Mikael Williams are accused of murdering of Isiayah Henry, from Woolwich, south-east London.
He had been admitted to hospital and subsequently died from 'serious injuries', the Metropolitan Police has said.
Officers were called to hospital on January 3 following concerns about the boy who had been admitted with serious wounds.
Following initial enquiries, a safeguarding and criminal investigation was launched by officers.
Despite best efforts of medical staff, the child died on January 19. He has now been named as Isiayah Henry.

The boy's mother Henry, 28, from Woolwich, and 30-year-old Williams, from Southwark, are next scheduled to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on April 22.
According to court documents, they faced counts of causing Isiayah grievous bodily harm with intent and causing or allowing him to suffer serious physical harm.
Isiayah’s family have been informed and continue to receive support from specialist officers, the Met said in a statement today.
