Analysis: Hasan Piker Whines Like Loser, Grovels Like Bitch
He called his Democratic critics 'Islamophobic pieces of shit.' Now he's begging them to stop hurting his feelings.
Like most left-wing activists, Hasan Piker got bored of being rich. He wanted to exert influence over the Democratic Party, to accelerate its embrace of terrorist-adjacent, anti-capitalist extremism. In 2026, Piker has (sort of) achieved that goal but has proven himself ill-equipped to handle the scrutiny that comes with it. According to the results of a Washington Free Beacon analysis, he is crumbling under the pressure like a little bitch.
Piker, best known for arguing that "America deserved 9/11," was positively defiant earlier this month when Abdul El-Sayed narrowly won the Democratic U.S. Senate primary in Michigan. He scoffed at the idea that El-Sayed should adopt a conciliatory approach to the establishment Democrats who supported his primary opponent, Haley Stevens.
"Everyone being like, 'Abdul has a fuck-ton of work to do mending bridges,'" Piker said, "here's the fucking take nuke for you, OK? You are all unbelievably Islamophobic pieces of shit."
Piker and other El-Sayed surrogates have repeatedly suggested it is "Islamophobic" to point out the candidate's numerous ties to advocates of Islamic terrorism. For example, El-Sayed attended a mosque opening alongside a Holocaust-denying cleric who praised the October 7 attack on Israel. Among the guests at El-Sayed's election night party was a pro-Hezbollah imam who told the Free Beacon the Jews were behind the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Malcolm X. El-Sayed is scheduled to speak at an upcoming conference alongside an antisemitic Pakistani cleric who bragged about forcing his 13-year-old niece into marriage.
Piker also gloated back in June after several left-wing radicals won congressional primaries in New York. "The decade of socialism, it's coming to a neighborhood near you," he crooned. "When I said we were going to let a thousand Zohrans bloom, this is what I meant."
The results, Piker argued, were "only the beginning" of the Democratic establishment's demise. "The American people are tired of the same old, business-as-usual politics, the corruption, the ineptitude, the feckless nature of the Democrats that don't want to fight back against the growth of fascism in this country," he said. "This is Americans fighting back."
Polling suggested Piker was on track to celebrate another victory last week in the Wisconsin gubernatorial primary. The radical leftist he endorsed, Francesca Hong, was expected to win by double digits. She ended up narrowly losing to an establishment-backed opponent, David Crowley.
Piker responded by throwing a tantrum. He lashed out at "the fucking national media" and "the median American voter" for sabotaging Hong's campaign. "Fuck 'em and fuck Thanksgiving," he huffed, referring to Hong's view that the holiday should be canceled because it celebrates "colonialism" and the murder of "Indegenous [sic] folx [sic]."
Then, like a total bitch, Piker practically begged the Democratic Party—an institution he has ruthlessly attacked as insufficiently sympathetic to Hamas, Luigi Mangione, Mao Zedong, and Fidel Castro, among others—to stop being so mean to him.
Hahahaha this guy spends all day talking about how he's going to destroy the Democratic establishment, and then as soon as people outside Democratic circles notice his existence and realize how toxic he is, he demands that the Democratic establishment come to his defense 💀 https://t.co/LhrpeEFTHq

The millionaire influencer went on to say it would be helpful if Democrats could be "a little bit more honest about how I'm not this dangerous, toxic radical force" whose radical views will hurt the party in general election matchups with Republicans. Meanwhile, Piker's establishment critics do not seem particularly eager to concede that point. In Michigan, for example, recent polling shows the GOP nominee for U.S. Senate, Mike Rogers, leading El-Sayed by several percentage points in a race that—on paper—Democrats should be heavily favored to win.
A lot is riding on the outcome. If El-Sayed wins, Democrats will be the ones groveling. They'll agree to Piker's terms and give him a speaking slot at the 2028 convention. If Rogers wins, Democrats will be pretty annoyed and looking for someone to blame. Piker's feelings may never recover.
Hasan Piker says he's going to sue the people making fun of him and sharing clips of all the insane things he's said.
