President Donald Trump reiterated his call for residents of The North Star State to turn out for Mike Lindell in the Minnesota Republican gubernatorial primary election.

In a Tuesday Truth Social post, Trump again voiced his support for Lindell, who recently stepped down as CEO of his company, My Pillow, to fully focus on his campaign.

"Mike Lindell deserves a BIG WIN IN MINNESOTA today. Nobody has worked harder, and given up so much, in fighting for free and fair Elections. Go out, NOW, and VOTE for Mike Lindell for Governor. He will not let you down," the president said.

Trump threw his support behind Lindell, whom he nicknamed the "Pillow Man," in mid-July in the race to name the replacement for Governor Tim Walz (D-Minn.). Walz chose not to run for reelection in the wake of widespread allegations of fraud in the state under his watch.

The state's primary elections are set for Tuesday, and among the Republican candidates are state House Speaker Lisa Demuth and Kendall Qualls, who won the Minnesota Republican endorsement at the state's convention, according to the Associated Press.

On the Democrat side, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) is hoping to succeed Walz, with several other challengers throwing in their bid for the position.
