An older leftist assaulted a Turning Point volunteer at a New Hampshire polling site on Tuesday.
“An 18-year-old stood his ground at the polls in New Hampshire today and was assaulted for it,” Turning Point said.
“He stayed calm. The left got violent,” they said.
“Don't cede the ground, show up to the polls. Your vote helps us outnumber these people,” the organization said.
"You have no idea who I am!" the leftist shouted at the young volunteer before he assaulted the young man. "You sit there and dare to look me in the face and say, 'I don't know anything?!'
"That's what I know. F*ck you!" the man shouted before slapping the teen.
The young volunteer remained composed after the assault.
The assault took place at the Woodland Heights School in Laconia, New Hampshire.
“A young male Turning Point Action volunteer was threatened and physically assaulted while manning a table in the Ward 5 voting location in Laconia at Woodland Heights School. Police were called and are actively investigating,” the Belknap County Republican Committee said.
“The perpetrator was described as an “older male” that engaged the young man at first verbally and ending up with a violent act,” the Belknap County Republican Committee said.
“The Belknap County Republican Committee condemns all forms of violence both in and outside of the political process. We will not tolerate any such attacks as our fellow citizens practice our most fundamental right to engage in Democracy,” they said.
