He was outraged after discovering pamphlets in his son's trick-or-treat bag that said, 'Jesus loves you so much,' and 'Truth & a treat' with a QR code for a Bible study.
The father, who asked not to be identified for fear of doxxing, admitted to the Daily Mail in an email: 'I was highly offended (obviously) and did make a jacka** out of myself.'
But he added: 'I do not need people proselytizing on a holiday that is supposed to be about kids getting candy. My kids brought it to me and they were upset that they got it.'
The father also said his neighbors 'were inticing (sic) children with bags of candy and then telling them Jesus is the truth. It felt very "grooming" to me.'
In the video of the dad's tirade, which was recorded after he found the pamphlets at home then drove back to the house that handed them out, the father could be heard shouting, 'Don't try to convert kids on a f***ing holiday!'
He could also be seen flipping off the man recording while saying, 'Yeah, get it real good!'

The man, pictured with his arms out imitating Jesus on the cross, admitted: ''I was highly offended (obviously) and did make a jacka** out of myself'

During the rant, the man's son sat in their car. He is pictured climbing into the backseat while his dad yells at the man recording
'Good job! Go worship your Christ, he died for your sins,' the father continued while splaying his arms out like he was on a cross.
Throughout the tantrum, the man's son could be seen sitting in their Tesla parked in front of the home – at one point climbing into the backseat during his dad's tantrum.
'My kid's smart enough to not fall for that s***,' the man could be heard saying while his son climbed into the back of the car.
The father continued his rant by saying there were other families nearby who practice different faiths and 'don't need to hear about your f***ing fantasy God.'
The man recording replied, 'They don't talk like you,' before the father said: 'Go f*** yourself. Have a great Halloween and go f*** yourself.'
The inside of the pamphlet that said 'Jesus loves you so much,' and that made the father so furious, included information about Christianity, encouragement to follow Jesus, a prayer and a Bible verse.
The father told the Daily Mail that the pamphlets were at the bottom of gift bags handed out to children and that parents were not asked if it was okay.
He said that people of many religions live in the neighborhood and that other residents also found it offensive.

The dad added: 'It felt very wrong on so many levels. That doesn't forgive or condone my actions as I was irrational in the moment.
'I regret it AND I find it outrageous that people will find any excuse they can find to try to force their belief system down the throat of others.'
The father also said that before the video of his rant began, he had attempted to have 'a nice conversation' with the man who recorded it, but 'the man said some very offensive things to me about my lack of religion.'
He emphasized that the tirade took place 'on a public street,' and no threats were made, no one was harmed and nothing was damaged.
'Just an earful of ranting,' he said.
