Rashida Tlaib chanted 'KKK' at Republican lawmakers in response to their cheers of 'USA' during Donald Trump's State of the Union address, new footage has revealed.
The far-left Democratic lawmaker's raucous jeers alongside Ilhan Omar sparked fiery clashes with the President inside the House Chamber on Tuesday night.
A new clip of Tlaib shows her saying, 'KKK, KKK,' as she mocked her Republican colleagues who erupted in a chorus of support for the President.
Tlaib's racially-charged language sparked a furious backlash.
The National Republican Congressional Committee tweeted the clip, stating: 'Everything you need to know about today's Democrats. They cannot stand this country, they cannot stand its comeback, and they cannot hide their contempt anymore.'
One X user responded: 'As a Black American, watching Talib, a non-Black person chant "KKK" is beyond offensive. That word carries generations of terror and pain; it’s not a prop for political theater. This is conduct unbecoming of a Member of Congress. Censure her.'
Another said: 'In the last week Democrats have provided political ads for the Republicans in the next cycle that would choke a seasoned marketing guy. They write themselves.'
The Daily Mail has contacted Tlaib for comment.
