A sweet baby monkey, who found comfort in an orangutan toy after his mother abandoned him, was finally welcomed into a family of monkeys inside his zoo. 

Punch, a six-month-old macaque at Ichikawa City Zoo in Japan, became an internet sensation after videos showed the lonely little primate finding comfort and companionship in his stuffed toy.

Schools and parents across London are on red alert after it emerged children were being encouraged via a social media trend to film themselves violently attacking pupils from rivals schools. 

Posters inspired by notorious LA street gangs the Bloods and the Crips featuring men in red and blue balaclavas listing which schools fall under which 'side' have been circulating on Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram this week.

Millions of Americans along the East Coast are bracing for a catastrophic blizzard that will shut down cities and halt major travel hubs with more than two feet of snow.

The National Weather Service (NWS) warned that the 'potent' Nor'easter will cause blizzard conditions and 'impossible travel' along the I-95 corridor from Baltimore to Boston.
