Florida high school student participating in anti-ICE walkout gets hit by car

Florida high school student participating in anti-ICE walkout gets hit by car

Bro, what have they got the kids doing in high school?

This happened on Monday in West Palm Beach around 12:30 pm. As you can see in the video, an emergency crew is rendering aid to the child, and, fortunately, the kid only suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The driver stuck around, so hopefully that means no foul play on their part.

Here's the part that bothers me though from ABC 7:

The minor being struck by a vehicle comes as hundreds of students from at least four Palm Beach County high schools took to the streets in coordinated protest against ICE. The schools involved were reported to be Lake Worth Beach High School, John I. Leonard High School, Royal Palm Beach High School, and Palm Beach Lakes High School.

Feeling upset by this? Well, here's Florida Commissioner of Education, Anastasios Kamoutsas:

A great resource for Florida parents right there.
