Team USA’s bar tab was reportedly legendary.
According to the Daily Mail, the team ripped through $150,000 worth of champagne, tequila, and vodka at the E11EVEN club in Miami, Florida. That does sound fun, but it also sounds like the hangover from hell. (RELATED: We’re Proud Of YOU, Toothless Jack)

Additionally, sports personality Pat McAfee picked up the tab, the Daily Mail reported.
First, this is a reminder to celebrate. Celebrate the big things, like winning the first USA hockey gold medal since 1980, and the smaller things, like successfully running your first half-marathon and setting a personal best time. I remember an old Daily Caller employee once said something to the effect of, “Celebrating is important in life. It adds color to your life. It distinguishes the days so they don’t all blur together.”

Couldn’t have put it better myself.
And second, this is a reminder that paying a bar tab for your friends, whether it’s big or small (hopefully small), is a gesture that everyone appreciates. In fact, it is one of the best gifts one can give or receive: a free drinking session at a bar or pub. Of course, a $150,000 tab is out of most of our budgets, but even paying a $150 tab, though seemingly expensive, is always worth it. Your friend will appreciate it, and you will feel like a legend, as well.
