President Trump said he learned about the domestic abuse accusations against Rep. Max Miller (R-OH), who is accused of abusing his ex-wife.
Miller was formerly married to Emily Moreno, the daughter of Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-OH).
The Republican senator said Miller “needs serious psychological help” and should not serve in the House of Representatives.
"It's a very sad thing. I know Max. He's a good person. I mean, I always thought he was a very good person, and I'm going to let the families figure that out," Trump told reporters.
"It's a very sad thing, especially when you know somebody so well, to be going through that. But it's accusations, and I'm gonna let them figure that out," he continued.
