Between 2015 and 2019, Ukraine TV introduced 'Servant of the People' as a political satire comedy starring Volodymyr Zelensky. In his role as a high school history teacher, Zelensky unexpectedly became President of Ukraine on an anti corruption and peace platform.
The Show's script was eerily similar to the reality that Zelensky would experience in real life as the President of Ukraine including the presence of oligarchic corruption and influence, dealing with the IMF and even the possibility of becoming a Member of the EU.
Mixed with sharp political satire, the program earned awards, high ratings and achieved international attention.
In 2019, just as the show was coming to a conclusion, a political party was founded using the same "Servant of the People" name politically. With Zelensky pursuing the leading role in real life, Zelensky was elected President with a landslide victory on a peace campaign winning 73% of the vote.
Zelensky was sworn in as President of Ukraine on May 20, 2019.
What was not included in the script was that the 2014 U.S sponsred coup ousting democratically elected President Yanukovich and the beginning of a civil war between the Kyiv Government and the Crimea and the Donbass and Luhansk oblasts with its ethnically Russian population.
The civil war continued until Russian launched its Special Military Operation in March, 2022 to protect Russian sovereignty from NATO's incursion along its border with Ukraine.
In April, 2022, there was a peace meeting in Istanbul to sign an agreement between Ukraine and Russia until former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson intervened against signing the Peace Agreement.

The essential background returns to 1990 when German reunification initiated an agreement with Russian President Michel Gorbachev and US Secretary of State James Baker and President George Bush with the assurance that NATO will never move 'one inch eastward' or threaten the sovereignty of Russia with the presence of NATO.
Fast forward to 2008 when William Burns, CIA Director's historic "Nyet means Nyet" memo articulated Russia's Red Lines regarding NATO expansion. Burns' memo added another layer of authenticity to the existing documents from 1990 that confirmed the US promise.
The Ukraine war became an important link to deep state-globalist conflict against Russia as the US assumed a proxy role providing intelligence, direct military and economic assistance and presumably the presence of the Starlink and Starshield satellite networks were not yet conceived.
While on one hand, Trump talked peace and an end to the war, on the other hand, the US was providing resources that involved the US to 'fight to the last Ukrainian." Trump was talking about ending a war he discovered later was never in the national interest of the US.

Today the promise of 1990 has been forgotten as Russia was not allowed to join NATO, without the valuable discussion of a national security architect for Russia became synonymous with abdicating peace in Europe.
The Ukraine War continued against Russia's SMO with the European escalation of drone attacks. The EU which includes 27 European countries agreed to a strategy through a formal agreement in which a Unanimous strategy would be followed.
While war fever is strong in the EU, the UK initiated attacks on Russia by constructing their own drones and sending them to Ukraine for use against Russia.
It was unilaterally decided to no longer rely on Russian pipeline oil and LNG and to replace it with expensive imports from the US. By the end of 2027, all Russian gas imports will be prohibited. Such EU strategy has contributed to the economic difficulties and a significant drain on the EU economy.
There was also agreement to 'no negotiations' with Russia and that all EU parties agree to a non communication strategy. Europe continued to turn a deaf ear as Russia's needs to have its national security concerns values and accepted by the EU. Russia has warned for years that NATO expansion would prove provocative.

On Aug. 26, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree awarding an Order of Freedom medal, one of the nation's highest state honors, to Elon Musk. The medal is the latest and least subtle instrument in a months-long campaign to persuade the SpaceX CEO to let Ukrainian drones use Starlink over Russian territory, which would allow Ukraine to hunt the mobile launchers now hitting its cities.
SpaceX has allowed Starlink inside Ukraine, including Russian-occupied territory, since the war broke out in February 2022, but Musk has refused the use of Starlink in Russian airspace, arguing that it would escalate the war and that the two sides should settle.

While Donald Trump was elected in 2024 and talked about peace and ending the war in 'one day', Trump met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in an Alaskan Summit which produced no agreement.

While Trump was talking peace, the Ukraine war being conducted by NATO on behalf of US as its proxy, behind the scenes targeting and enabling European drones to focus its attacks within Russia.
It is important to note that during 2026, the US-sponsored attacks have twice focused on schools. When the Iran War began on February 28th as the Iranians were in negotiation, there was a triple-tap Tomahawk attack on a girl's school in Minab which killed 160 students and teachers.

The second attack was at a school in Starobilsk in Luhansk, Ukraine – neither of which may have been accidents of war.
On the evening of May 21, 2026 there was a series of drone strikes that hit the dormitory of the Starobilsk College of Luhansk Pedagogical University in three waves of drone attacks.

After which a furor erupted over the use of whether Starlink has been denied use in Ukraine. If the Ukraine war had been eliminated 'Day One' as Trump originally promised when he took office immediately after Inauguration, the Ukraine War would have ended three years ago.
In the ensuing debate over the whether the attack was deliberate or an accidental error in judgment, Russian authorities claimed that Ukrainian forces targeted the Starobilsk location.
The Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry said that the upper three floors of the five-story dormitory had been destroyed and confirmed that there were no military facilities nearby.
The developer of Starlink and Starshield satellite communication systems, Elon Musk was correct when he acknowledged that Ukraine had violated the terms of service for use when the Russian investigation of the attack found evidence of Starlink at the site.
According to Russia's Investigative Committee, two of the seven UAVs used in the attack were operated via the Starlink satellite communication system including the remains of a Starlink Mini terminal display along with a Starlink antenna recovered among the wreckage.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres' Spokesperson, Stéphane Dujarric, said the Organization "strongly condemn[s] any attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure, wherever they occur."
SpaceX intentionally slowed its Starlink satellite internet network in Ukraine, owner Elon Musk confirmed on Saturday, hindering military efforts essential for the nation's defense against Russia.
"The speeds are now where they need to be," Zelenskyy posted on X, explaining that connection upgrades overnight helped stabilize military supply lines and strengthen countermeasures against Russia's jet-propelled Shahed drones by Saturday morning.
"Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be," Musk wrote. "Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.'
Musk added that "the slaughter continues" and that "it is time for Zelensky to go".
Russian President Vladimir Putin described Elon Musk as "a real genius" just weeks after the tech billionaire slowed down his Starlink satellite service over Ukraine. The Russian president praised Musk for his work in space.
As a result, Putin and Musk have indicated they are in communication.
Putin added that
"We are in close contact with our American partners – including Mr Musk – because it is very important, in orbit, not to get in each other's way and to maintain a certain level of discipline and order," he said.
How is Starlink Different from Starshield
We are told that Starlink has 13 million subscribers worldwide, is limited to civilian or defensive use or a low-earth orbit satellite network and yet has been a critical communication tool in the Ukraine war. Also that Starlink cannot be used for offensive military action.
And yet, while focused on commercia activities; Ukraine uses Starlink for military communications, drone operations and logistics.
Meanwhile, while the 'more secure' Starshield' is owned and controlled by the US government and its partners, is focused on military and intelligence satellite service, is designed for secure communications, earth observation which allows drone operators to see targets in real time. Any limits on use is set by the US military or the President. In addition, Starshield has added security, dedicated missions and US government controls.
The systems are critical to Ukraine's battlefield communications, drone operations and efforts to intercept Russian attacks.
While Starlink and Starshield are legally and operationally separate, Starshield leverages Starlink's engineering, operational experience, and satellite constellation. This means that in some cases, the same satellites support both commercial and military users, but with different access rules and security and yet shares the same satellite infrastructure.
Excuse my admitted inexperience and total ignorance, but the distinctions between Starlink and Starshield appear, to my unschooled eye and understanding, to be either so thin or insignificant as to allow duplicative confusion.
It may be obvious to the initiated or to the professional but it appears elementary that when Starlink is used for anything military; communications, drone related or logistics that is opportunity for misunderstanding or chaos.
That unless the lack of military use is absolute, undeniable and complete, the door is open to government mumbo jumbo participation.

Starlink service is still operating at a speed cap of 161 kilometers per hour, functionality is back to normal severely limiting key military operations, including mid-range strikes and high-speed drone interceptions. The question remains whether Starlink is used for offensive operations or for defensive.
Despite the speed cap, almost two dozen teenagers at Starbilst were killed. Starlink has been determined to be only for defensive but how did the Starbilst school been ordered bombed?
Do the CIA and NATO target out at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany with 36,000 military/civilian employees?
The demand comes as Ukrainian forces continue to experience severe problems operating Starlink military systems.
In a public letter, Democratic Senators and Representatives listed five questions concerning Starlink restrictions impacting Ukrainian forces, addressed to Musk.
Ukrainian officials deny any real change and say the restriction still limits drone and air defence operations.
