Following the U.S. military’s Saturday morning strikes against Iran, key American allies offered a mix bag of responses.

While leaders of some longstanding U.S. allies, such as French President Emmanuel Macron, offered stern words of caution that the U.S.’s “escalation” against Iran “must stop,” leaders of Anglosphere nations including Canada, the U.K., and Australia offered messages of support. Fox News anchor Bret Baier opined President Donald Trump’s Saturday strikes against Iran were especially meaningful because they were carried out while the sun was already up.

Baier, a former Pentagon correspondent, told “Fox and Friends Weekend” the Pentagon’s Operation Epic Fury against the Islamic theocracy was “not under the cover of darkness,” a decision he said evoked “confidence” in the U.S. military.

The United States military launched targeted strikes Saturday against the Islamic Republic of Iran, following the escalation of tensions between the two powers and an apparent breakdown in diplomatic negotiations.

Former President Joe Biden told a South Carolina audience Friday that his administration created 2.2 million jobs in 2024.

Biden spoke at an event celebrating his win in South Carolina’s 2020 Democratic presidential primary. During his speech, Biden claimed his administration delivered the lowest average unemployment rate in 50 years and added 2.2 million jobs in 2024 alone.

Fox News host Trey Gowdy on Friday warned investigators probing Jeffrey Epstein’s network that questioning former President Bill Clinton will require precision and persistence.

The House Oversight Committee conducted closed-door depositions with Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as it investigates the Epstein case. During a panel discussion on “Special Report with Bret Baier,” Gowdy said investigators cannot treat Clinton like an ordinary witness.

Employees at CNN “have real concerns ”about the network’s future after Paramount won a bidding war for Warner Bros. Discovery, CNN senior media analyst Brian Stelter reported Friday.

Netflix ended its efforts to acquire the media conglomerate that owns CNN after Paramount offered $31 a share, which the board of Warner Bros. determined was a superior offer to the $27.75 a share offered by Netflix, PBS reported. The DCCC’s endorsements are intended to spotlight top-tier Democratic challengers in Republican-held House districts. However, the party’s choice of candidates ignited a firestorm of backlash from Democratic primary challengers who were spurned. While this is entertaining for the right, more importantly, it’s a glaring symptom of a growing Democrat dysfunction that could potentially hand the GOP the momentum needed to gain in the 2026 midterms. Democratic California Rep. Ro Khanna named six people listed in the Epstein files in a Feb. 10 speech on the floor of the House of Representatives, only to backtrack after the Guardian reported that four of those named were in a photo lineup and had no ties to the disgraced financier. Jennings said that Khanna “doxed” the men, calling out Democratic Rep. Tom Suozzi of New York when Suozzi decried the American people’s loss of trust in the government.
