Every line in this story is crazier than the last.
Ibrahim George Kallon, an illegal alien from Sierra Leone whose visitor visa expired in 2024, was arrested while training to be a Delaware County Prison corrections officer and was charged by Glenolden Police for:
— Rape
— Involuntary deviate sexual intercourse
— Sexual assault
— Aggravated indecent assault
— False imprisonment
— Indecent assault
Delaware County Prison sent him back into the community despite an ICE immigration detainer, so ICE [Philadelphia office] officers had to arrest him at-large on Feb. 11.
If the county won't protect its own residents, we'll do it for them.
So, let me track this for you.
A man enters the country illegally from Sierra Leone. He applies to be a corrections officer at a prison and is hired (somehow). During the training, he's charged with rape and a bunch of other violent crimes. After he is arrested, ICE puts a detainer on him. ICE is bad (duh) so the prison lets him go free to stick it to ICE.
ICE then arrests him on their own with no help from local officials.
I mean, how is this even remotely defensible?
What world are we living in where this sort of thing happens?
