Training camp drama never ceases to entertain, and here we go again.
Going into the 2026 campaign, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson isn't sure what his future is with the team. (RELATED: Kirk Cousins, Maxx Crosby Get In Scuffle During Raiders Training Camp)
The QB, who is an ex-No. 4 overall draft selection, could potentially be traded. However, he went on the record to say that he hasn't had a recent conversation with his agent about the trade request he made over the offseason.
"I haven't really even talked to my agent about (the trade request) recently)," said Richardson while speaking with the media. "I haven't talked to (Chris) Ballard … I'm not necessarily sure what's going on. But I'm just here right now, trying to make sure I can stamp my foot on this team."

It was added by Richardson that if he isn't traded, he'd be fine staying with the Colts.
"Man, if that's what the team wants, that's what I want," said Richardson. "I just want go be able to help a team. If it's this team, then I thank God for it. I'm just ready to showcase what I can do."

After a dreadful tenure with the Colts, I'd want to be traded if I was Anthony Richardson.
In three seasons in Indianapolis, Richardson has thrown for 2,400 yards, 11 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. And in 2025, he only played in two games prior to suffering an eye injury that resulted in him being out for the season.
And it's not just his history. Per The Athletic, Richardson hasn't performed well in 2026 training camp, and as a result, Riley Leonard "appears to be on track" to be the backup quarterback for Daniel Jones.
In other words, he's cooked in Indy. Go get a fresh start, A-Rich.
