Alleged Burglar Takes Car For Joyride, Ransacks Kim Kardashian’s Closet

Police reportedly arrested a man who is alleged to have broken into Kim Kardashian's mansion, grabbed her belongings, and taken a joyride in a nearby car.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that a 27-year-old male allegedly burglarized Kardashian's Los Angeles mansion Sunday, while it was under renovation. They alleged he forced his way inside the star's Hidden Hills mansion through a door in the afternoon.

A security guard claimed the man took items from Kardashian's home and loaded them into a vehicle, before taking a joyride in a staffer's car, according to TMZ.

The guard said he witnessed the burglary in progress and called the sheriff's office to report it as the man took the car for a spin around the neighborhood.

Sources told TMZ that sheriff's deputies surrounded the reality star's home and were able to take the unidentified man into custody without incident.

Police told the outlet that no weapons were found in the suspect's possession, and nobody was injured. The man was arrested on suspicion of burglary. It's not clear if he has since been released from police custody.

Kardashian's sources claimed the star and her children were not inside the residence at the time, and had not been staying at the property during the renovation process. (RELATED: Search Warrants Reveal Disturbing New Details In Home Burglary After Death Of NASCAR's Greg Biffle)

Sources close to Kardashian pushed back against allegations made in the police report, asserting that the man did not manage to gain entry into the home and did not take any of Kardashian's belongings because she doesn't have anything stored in the home at this time, according to TMZ.

Kardashian has not publicly addressed the burglary.
