Stunning photographs have captured day-to-day life in the Earth's frozen frontiers.
The incredible images were snapped in the Arctic and Antarctic by veteran expeditioners Sue Flood and Ian Dawson.
They showcase some of the regions' most iconic animals – including polar bears and Adélie penguins.
The British photographers captured the images to raise awareness of environments that are 'in need of protection' – combining the snaps for their new book, Midnight Sun.
In total, the book, described as a 'treasured record before these landscapes change forever', features 208 pages of 132 captioned images with an 'equal focus' of the Arctic and Antarctic.
The 'spectacular, harsh and rapidly changing landscapes' include emperor penguins huddled against 'fierce blizzards'.
