President Trump on Sunday confirmed to reporters that he will hold a rally at the Reflecting Pool on Monday, the day before the midterm elections.
Trump is scheduled to deliver an address the day before the election at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool tomorrow afternoon.
Asked why he chose to speak at the Reflecting Pool on election eve, Trump said he wants "just to show how beautiful it is."
"It's been finished. It was vandalized badly. We have cameras all over the place now for the vandals, but I don't know; we might hold it tomorrow or something," Trump said.
"It's finished, it looks beautiful, it hasn't worked since 1922. It's always leaked terribly, and it works really well now. We had it working well, but it was vandalized. But we did a temporary open because we had to do the pipes. We wanted to be able to get it open for July 4th, so we were going to close it. But in the meantime, they vandalized the hell out of it, including the grass, the grass surrounding it."
"You know what they put? They put the certain thing that I won't even say. We replaced the grass, the whole lawn; we had it replaced. They burned it out with acid."

The pool was drained to fix damage caused by crazed left-wingers, who were caught red-handed and witnessed ripping out the blue lining over the summer.
However, US Attorney Jeanine Pirro refused to prosecute multiple individuals despite video evidence of the alleged vandalism.
Surveillance footage, previously shared by Trump, shows suspects reaching their hands into the pool and allegedly ripping out the sealant.
