Yaxel Lendeborg is having a tough time adjusting to the NBA.
Oh, not his play; he's a great player.
That was game one of the season, by the way.
Here he is after dropping 26 points (very impressive for a rookie, but nothing too special) on Saturday night:
Yeah, dude, he's balling it up and also happens to be super unimpressed with how weak the NBA is.
In America, we call that hating your job.
So now, NBA fans, it's your job to hear this and, as the customer, repeat it — repeat the complaint, over and over and over. And to NBA players: The more you repeat this, the more the fans will. Eventually, we would then hope to see the NBA get rid of some of the soft officiating and foul-baiting we've come to expect from the league that was once great.
Oh, and to the college basketball players: Stay in school, make your NIL money, and have yourself a career plan in case you get to the NBA and have the same experience as Yaxel Lendeborg.
I'll leave this highlight here:
The kid has potential. The NBA ... not so much.
