When Bill Gates starts talking about future plandemics, I tend to trust his word. When he talks about stuff like this, well, I take it with a grain of salt.
The guy who helped put a computer in every home has now announced that AI will create "true abundance" ... but only after about 20 years of the most tumultuous time in human history.
Let's see what he said:
"My big concern is this 20-year transition period where you'll have winners and losers and a lot of disruption."
"We have to get through that in order to get to that period of abundance."
"Humanoid robots could be two or three years away, or maybe eight years away."
"We will have robots that can build houses, grow food and do surgery."

White-collar jobs: Telesales, customer support, accounting — gone. AI will do them cheaper, faster, and better. Blue-collar jobs? Humanoid robots will handle those too.
"If we don't choose to massively slow down or stop, then we will have robots that can build houses, grow food, do surgery," Gates said. "And none of the things that human labor provides to the economy will be necessary for most goods and services."
Work, Gates reminds us, gives people purpose. So maybe reserve a few things for humans to do even if AI can do them better.
Or — and hear me out — we have another plandemic, flood the workforce with robots that can't get sick, and do this whole 20-year process in fast-forward.
