This is one heck of a way to phrase a post.
"If it's obvious, we'll let you know the Democrats won tonight. If it's not obvious, we'll let you know the Democrats won after we've had some extra time to figure it out." 😂
If this weren't NBC News, an outlet with blatant leftwing bias that I've written about for years, I'd say the phrasing here was nothing more than a poor choice of words.
But I think the editors knew exactly what they published.
It is also a real possibility that Americans will wake up at a slightly more reasonable hour on Wednesday without a majority decided, even if we have a good sense of who will ultimately win. And if Senate control comes down to the outcome in Alaska, we'll all be here awhile.
In that case, it will take a couple of weeks to know who won the majority thanks to the state's ranked choice voting system.
Alaska, where Democrats ran a fake candidate with the same name as the GOP incumbent to confuse voters?
Cool, cool.
Remember how the entire country knew the results of elections within an hour or two of the polls closing?
For generations?
If you want to reassure people of the integrity of the election, this is the worst way to do it.
