A three-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a van at a campsite.
An air ambulance was dispatched to Red House Farm in Earnley, near Chichester, after witnesses dialled 999 at around 7.30pm on Saturday.
Police have said the toddler was involved in a collision with a van.
The boy has now been taken to hospital for treatment after being seriously injured.
Sussex Police said no arrests have been made. A spokesperson for the force said officers are investigating the incident.
Footage of the incident shows a yellow helicopter departing the scene after landing in a nearby field.
Witnesses reported seeing the air ambulance at around 9pm on Bookers Lane, the scene of the campsite.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: 'Emergency services responded to a collision at a campsite in Bookers Lane, Earnley, Chichester, at around 7.30pm on Saturday, 1 August.
'A three-year-old boy was injured after he was involved in a collision with a van and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
'No arrests were made and police are investigating the circumstances.'
The ambulance service has been approached for comment.
Red House Farm is a four-acre, family-run campsite located around three miles from West Wittering Beach in Chichester.
The site has ten hardstanding electric pitches for caravans and motorhomes and 20 grass electric pitches where tents can also be set up.
Red House Farm also has four 'luxury glamping pods' which can accommodate up to four people.
It is located one mile away from RSPB Medmerry nature reserve.
