Kinley MacDonald, 45, of York, was convicted by a jury on Oct. 30 on charges of burglary, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and assault.

High Crimes v1 336x280

In August 2022, MacDonald broke into a Parsonfield home after midnight with a revolver and duct tape while wearing a camouflage mask.

She and the homeowner became engaged in a fight, during which she bit the victim several times and attempted to shoot him, sending a bullet through the wall.

MacDonald fled the scene. She was later arrested by the Boston Police Department on a warrant obtained by the York Sheriff’s Department.

Following her arrest, her DNA was found on the firearm and in the victim’s bite marks.

Further investigation revealed that she had been prowling the area for three days prior to the break-in, and that she had made a private Facebook group where she admitted to other break-ins.

She was sentenced to 28 years in prison with eight years suspended, followed by eight years of probation.
