Court rules Trump can't build White House ballroom

Alright, I guess we've got to stop construction, undo all the work, and un-demolish the old East Wing.

That's because a D.C. circuit court has decided that President Trump cannot do renovations at the White House without congressional approval, even though the renovations are halfway done.

I'm glad that our courts are focused on important things 👍

Trump and his team emphasized the need for a secure White House ballroom after the security snafu at the White House Correspondents' Dinner when an assassin nearly breached the event with the president inside.

But national security or not, the courts have ruled against the White House.
