Just over a year ago, five years after the Summer of Floyd, Tou Thao was released from jail and reunited with his family.
Since then, Thao has been vocal about how he feels he was a sacrificial lamb for the woke mob, along with Chauvin.
In a July 20 interview on the Yada Yada Gold podcast, he spoke about how he leaned on his faith in Jesus Christ to get him through.
There's people in government that would like nothing more than for Derek to die. The coverup just disappears. And there's no one left to expose it ... they ... want me to disappear as well.
Going back to my faith, we're not worried about that. We know where we're going. But we also have a task we've got to accomplish. For me it is to expose the work of darkness, you know, Ephesians Chapter 5, and also speak truth. And oftentimes it's not gonna be popular.
Ephesians 5:11 says, "Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them."
I could have taken the easy way out and sided with the woke mob ... just lie, take the woke narrative and run with it.
If I would have went that way, who knows, I could have been the chief of Minneapolis. It's not far-fetched.
This dude is a regular Christian husband and father who was put in the worst position imaginable on that fateful day in 2020.
And he's right. Woke Minneapolis probably would have promoted an Asian cop to the top office if he went with the "I was there, and I couldn't believe my eyes" narrative.
What happened in Minneapolis is inexcusable.
