Utah Football Player Suspended for Alleged Rape, Sharing Videos on Social Media

Jamal Wallace, a senior defensive tackle at the University of Utah, has been suspended from the school’s football program after being accused of rape and forcible sodomy and of sharing videos of the alleged attack on social media.

According to TMZ Sports, Wallace and a woman he was having a relationship with were discussing their relationship status when the football player allegedly grabbed the woman by the back of the neck and forced her to perform oral sex on him.

Wallace is also accused of taking the woman’s phone and recording the alleged assault before sending it to several people on Snapchat.

As of now, TMZ Sports reports that Wallace has not been charged with a crime.

However, Salt Lake City Police say they obtained the videos and that Wallace recorded them, TMZ Sports learned.

“We were made aware of the situation with Jamal Wallace on Oct. 11, and he was immediately placed on an indefinite suspension from the program,” a Utah athletics spokesman told TMZ Sports. “We take these matters seriously. As this is a pending legal matter, we have no further comment at this time.”

Trump Calls for LeBron James to Apologize for His Behavior During National Anthem: 'Total Disgrace'

President Donald Trump called on LeBron James to apologize Thursday after video showed the Philadelphia 76ers star moving his arms and practicing shooting motions during the national anthem.

Trump shared the footage on Truth Social and accused James of disrespecting the anthem as singer Avery Wilson performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” before Philadelphia's season opener Tuesday against the New York Knicks.

“While listening to our National Anthem, LeBron James disrespects our Country! I said right from the beginning that he's no good, a TOTAL DISGRACE,” Trump wrote.

The video showed James standing with his teammates, performing movements that resembled those of the Great American Warriors and Heroes who died for the American Flag, as part of a pregame warm-up. Trump argued that the basketball star owed an apology to Americans who died serving the country.

“LeBron James should apologize to all of those Great American Warriors and Heroes who died for the American Flag, and all that our Country stands for!” he added.

Some social media users backed Trump's call for an apology, criticizing James's conduct during the anthem and saying he should set an example as one of the NBA's biggest stars.

NFL Legend Marshall Faulk Diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease at 53

NFL Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk says that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.

Faulk revealed the diagnosis on the Caring Neurologist podcast, according to Yahoo Sports’ Jack Baer.

"I get a physical twice a year," Faulk said. "I'm a little anal about my health. I literally asked my doctor because I noticed it as I was playing golf. I noticed the rigidity in my hand after I play a lot or practice a lot; I thought it was just normal nerves when putting and stuff like that. But it started to be times where I wasn't playing — I mean, where I was playing, but I wasn't in a match, and it would still do that.

"I was like, 'Wow, is that something? Is that normal?' And the doctor was like, 'You need to go get checked. You need to go have X, Y, and Z done.'"

Faulk explained that the medication he’s been prescribed has eased the symptoms.

"Since I've started on the medication, I don't really have a lot of issues," Faulk said. "I might sleep a little more. . . . Other than that, the rigidity in my hands, I still have that. Can't say

Virginia Man Charged with Felony Injury to a Monument in Iwo Jima Attack

A 27-year-old man was arrested this week after police said they caught him using a sledgehammer to smash an Iwo Jima statue in Quantico, Virginia.

Officers with the Prince William County Police Department responded around 10:13 p.m. Wednesday after someone reported property being destroyed near the Marine Corps Base Quantico main gate. When they got there, they found a man, later identified as Miguel Alonso Maldonado Soriano of Stafford, actively damaging the statue, according to police.

Officers said one of the depicted soldiers' heads had been removed from the sculpture, and the department estimated the overall cost of the destruction runs into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

According to the police report, officers detained Maldonado Soriano at the scene without any struggle. He was charged with felony destruction of property, trespassing with intent to damage property, and felony injury to a monument.

He is currently being held without bond, and his court date is still pending.

The statue he is accused of attacking is not just any piece of roadside art.

President Donald Trump called on Thursday for Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) to be disqualified from Congress and resign immediately.

Speaking at a rally in Sioux City, Iowa, Trump accused Omar of winning an election under a false name after federal prosecutors identified her as "Ilhan Nur Said Elmi" in a court filing, saying House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) should be informed that she should no longer serve in the chamber.

"So it's not looking good because she used a fake name to be sworn in. I assume she must immediately have to resign from Congress," Trump said.

Krishnamoorthi: 'Congress Has to Police Big Tech' Because It's Not Policing Hate

On Thursday’s broadcast of “NewsNation Now,” Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) discussed a thwarted attack on a Hindu temple and threats to Rep. Keith Self (R-TX), and Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) and stated that one issue is “Big Tech is not policing social media. That means that Congress has to police Big Tech.” And hate is leading to violence.

Krishnamoorthi said that everyone needs to denounce political violence and avoid using violent rhetoric because that kind of rhetoric leads to violence. He added that both parties need to not use “rhetoric that would kind of demean people or target people, not using memes or other social media that would attack people based on tropes, whether you’re a Jew, a Hindu, a Muslim, Sikh, whatever, a Christian, whatever you are, we’ve got to just stop that. Because, again, our young people, they’re not born to hate, they’re not — babies don’t hate. They are taught to hate. They get self-radicalized over time. Social media contributes to that.”

He continued, “And finally, Big Tech is not policing social media. That means that Congress has to police Big Tech. This hate has consequences, and that is violence right now.”

Brennan: Law Schools Will Study 'Corruption' Under Trump and Blanche


Monday on MS NOW’s “On the Line,” former CIA Director John Brennan said one day there will be “law courses that are going to be looking at the corruption” of President Donald Trump and Attorney General Todd Blanche.

Brennan said, “You know, the legal profession has to take a look at itself. Naturalized U.S. Citizen Scammer Convicted of Laundering $2.7M


A federal jury convicted a Georgia man of laundering more than $2.7 million stolen from victims through online fraud schemes.

Babajide Adesayo, 41, of Douglasville, was found guilty Aug. 6 after an eight-day trial. The jury convicted him on two counts of conspiracy to commit money laundering and 16 counts of transactional money laundering.

A U.S. government source confirmed that Adesayo is an American citizen who became a naturalized citizen in 2015.

The fraud operation ran from April 2020 through September 2021, with scammers posing online as friends, business associates, or romantic partners to gain their victims' trust, prosecutors said.

"Adesayo was a key member of a complex, transnational network that preyed upon elderly victims and siphoned their retirement savings overseas, mainly to China, Hong Kong, and Nigeria, to make recovery impossible," said U.S. Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg.

Aussie Council Mutes Mosque's Plan to Broadcast Islamic Call to Prayer


An application by Australia's largest mosque to publicly broadcast the Islamic call to prayer via four outdoor loudspeakers was turned down Monday by a local authority.

Canterbury-Bankstown Council, in inner western Sydney, rejected the proposal over concerns it would be intrusive and create too much noise in the neighbourhood, the Daily Mail reports.

Lakemba Mosque had requested permission for the broadcast to take place once a week on Fridays for 15 minutes using new giant outdoor, public-facing loudspeakers atop a towering minaret, as has been the case in other global cities.

The local Lebanese Muslim Association (LMA) triggered a heated community backlash when it first submitted the application, attracting more than 1,600 submissions in opposition, the Mail report notes.

That sparked a fiery debate two weeks ago in the chambers of the local council.

Thousands reportedly signed an LMA petition supporting the proposal, with the petition declaring, 'This is not about noise.

Report: Ceuta Illegal Migrant Entries Surged 191% BEFORE Invasion Began


A staggering 191 percent surge in illegal migrant arrivals at Ceuta preceded the massive late July invasion of the exclave, Spanish government authorities documented Monday.

Europapress, citing statistical data from the latest illegal migration report published by the Spanish Interior Ministry, reports that 5,013 illegal migrants entered into Ceuta by land between January 1 and August 15 of this year — 191 percent more than the 3,291 documented entries during that same time period in 2025.

The already staggering statistical data and documented surge does not take into consideration the between 72,000 to 80,000 migrants that invaded the Spanish exclave in late July. Per Europapress, the Spanish Interior Ministry stated that it requires a “specific analysis” for the Ceuta invasion separate from its regular illegal migration statistical reports.
