DOJ: Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Agrees to End Sex Change Drugs for Minors

The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Wednesday announced that Connecticut Children’s Medical Center has agreed to no longer give sex change drugs to minors.

As part of the agreement with the DOJ, the medical center will also “pay a monetary penalty” and dedicate an extra $500,000 in medical care for individuals harmed by sex-mutilating drugs, the agency noted in a statement. DOJ said the resolution arose from its ongoing investigation into potential violations of federal law connected to sex change drugs and surgeries for minors.

"The Department of Justice will stop at nothing to protect America's children," Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward said in a statement. "This resolution is a reminder to hospitals, medical providers, and pharmaceutical companies that the Justice Department will vigorously enforce federal law, especially where the lives of children are endangered."

The DOJ noted that Connecticut Children’s “took significant steps entitling it to credit for cooperation with the Department in its investigation.” The agency said the medical center “remained cooperative, proactive, and solution-driven” throughout the entire investigation, qualities highlighted “by its financial commitment to providing restorative care to the victims who desperately

DOT Sec. Sean Duffy Makes English a Permanent Requirement for Nation's Migrant Truckers

Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has announced changes to U.S. regulations that would require commercial truckers to be able to speak and read English.

Duffy made his announcement on Friday in a post on X, which reported that English proficiency will now become a permanent requirement.

“Today, I am proposing to lock English proficiency rules into federal regulations FOR GOOD — so no future administration can ever undo them,” Duffy wrote on X.

“Barack Obama weakened this rule and allowed illegal truckers onto our highways, but THAT IS NOT HAPPENING AGAIN,” he adamantly continued.

“Over 26,000 unqualified drivers have already been pulled off the road. GET READY FOR MANY, MANY MORE,” Duffy concluded.

Duffy’s X post also contained a video of an official asking a trucker to identify U.S. road signs,

Report: Establishment Democrats Pressure Alani Bankhead's Family to Push Her Out of Montana Senate Race

Establishment Democrats have reportedly been pressuring the family of Alani Bankhead in order to push her into dropping out of the Montana Senate race so independent Seth Bodnar can step in.

As Breitbart News reported in July, Seth Bodnar, who has the backing of former Democrat Montana Sen. Jon Tester, has been actively weighing whether or not to stay in the race prior to the August 10 deadline.

“Independent Montana Senate candidate Seth Bodnar could withdraw from the state's U.S. Senate race before the Aug. 10 filing deadline if Democrat nominee Alani Bankhead remains on the ballot,” said the report.

“Republican strategists and political operatives told Breitbart News that Bodnar's campaign has struggled to gain traction despite spending by both the campaign and an allied super PAC,” it added.

Over the weekend, NPR noted that Democrats have been scrambling to pressure Bankhead to leave the race in the hopes of paving the way for Bodnar.

“Bankhead won the state primary, but both voters and some prominent Democrats are pressuring her to drop out of the race to make room for a prominent independent candidate, Seth Bodnar,

Sports Illustrated Blasted for 'Karma' Headline Suggesting Sophie Cunningham Deserved Flagrant Foul

One of the nation’s top sports chronicles, Sports Illustrated, is under fire for pushing out a headline insisting that WNBA star Sophie Cunningham deserved to be bashed in the face on the court because of her support of women-only sports.

The outrageous SI headline came after Cunningham suffered a fragrant clothesline foul on Saturday, when Chicago Sky player DiJonai Carrington smacked Cunningham in the face while attempting to block Cunningham’s shot.

Carrington was handed a flagrant 2 foul for sending the Indiana Fever's Cunningham smashing to the floor during her successful layup in the first quarter of Saturday's game.

In reply to the incident, the magazine pushed out a story headlined, “Sophie Cunningham Got a Bitter Taste of Karma after Drawing Flagrant Foul in Fever-Sky.”

The headline says straight-out that Cunningham earned deserved “karma” because she opposes men who claim to be women playing in women’s sports. The Indiana Fever star had expressed her opinion in an interview with ESPN at the end of July.

The headline and accompanying story by writer Kristen Wong were immediately lambasted by furious Cunningham’s fans.

Hours later, the magazine quietly

Trans Cyclist Veronica Ivy Now Stealing Women's Titles in a Second Sport

A transgender cyclist who identifies as a woman is now knocking women out of winning titles in a second sport.

Veronica Ivy has already won a string of women’s pro cycling titles as far back as 2018. Competing under the name Rachel McKinnon, Ivy became the first trans cyclist to win a world cycling championship with masters’ titles in 2018 and 2019, the New York Post reported.

But after a name change, Ivy is now dominating women in a second sport by winning Golf’s Inter-Provincial Team title at the Canadian Women's Mid-Amateur Championship.

“In June, Ivy won both the women's British Columbia Mid-Amateur and Mid-Master championships,” the paper reported.

“I swear, golf has to be the hardest sport out there,” Ivy wrote on social media after winning the BC Mid-Am women’s Championship. “Cycling was so simple by comparison. Cycling is maybe 5 minutes of peak stress, but golf is just 5 hours of non-stop stress, for days on end.”

Ivy has been outshooting women by achieving drives of more than 280 yards. By comparison, only three female pro golfers on

DSA Activists Upset North Carolina Town Removed Their Propaganda Bus Stop Benches

Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) activists in coastal Wilmington, North Carolina, are upset that city and state officials removed their propaganda bus stop benches this month.

Since April 2025, DSA activists built more than 30 illegal benches at city bus stops without approval from the city or the transit system, in violation of code ordinances.

On July 6, WECT-TV reported Wilmington City Attorney Meredith Everhart said the benches "were not approved by the city or WAVE, aren't the correct type of bench, aren't ADA compliant, didn't go through the required permitting process and carry political messaging, which isn't allowed in public right-of-ways."

Follow-up emails reported by local outlets showed the DSA ignored the request to remove them. A statement from the group confirmed they did not receive approval for the benches but chose to continue with the project, launching a pressure campaign to keep the benches at the bus stops.

In an image shared by the DSA chapter, slogans painted on the benches include, "We Must Have Mass Social Housing!" "Liberation for All"

Trump Blames Judges Appointed by Obama, Biden for Blocking White House Ballroom Project

President Donald Trump on Friday blamed two federal judges appointed by former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden after they ruled against his plan to build a White House ballroom and military complex.

A divided federal appeals court ruled that the Trump administration must stop construction of the $400 million White House ballroom because Congress did not authorize the project. The court found the president does not have unilateral authority to replace the East Wing with the planned 90,000-square-foot ballroom.

In a Truth Social post, Trump criticized the judges’ reasoning, arguing that presidents have the authority to renovate, improve, and secure the White House without congressional approval because they are elected by the American people.

“Two Judges, one appointed by Barack Hussein Obama, the other by Sleepy Joe Biden, said in a ruling on the desperately needed SECURE Ballroom/Military Complex, including a major DronePort on the roof, that ‘Each President is a temporary tenant … of the White House.'” Trump wrote.

“We are not tenants, who pay rent and do all other things that a tenant must do, we are PRESIDENTS, elected by the people of the United States

Raskin: Trump 'Rampaging over the Constitution and the Bill of Rights'

Friday on MS NOW’s “The Briefing,” Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said President Donald Trump was “rampaging over the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.”

Raskin said, “he Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee know that we are in the fight of our lives and have been working every single day. Michael, to try to defend the rule of law, the Constitution and our democracy against an authoritarian president who’s just been rampaging over the Constitution in the Bill of Rights.”

He added, “And it’s not just the weaponization fund but any transfer of money for these purposes. If these people have a valid cause of action against the Capitol Police or the U.S. government, go to court and make your case. Not a single one has been able to do that because they had every advantage of due process and, the presumption of innocence. They were all lawfully convicted and lots of them just pled guilty. So Donald Trump just wants to give them a bonanza payout day. And it’s got nothing to do with the rule of law that’s characteristic of an authoritarian society and a mafia state. That is not something representative of the

Coons: Republicans Should Know Better than to Confirm Blanche as AG

On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360,” Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) said his Republican colleagues should know better than to confirm Todd Blanche as attorney general.

Coons said, “I frankly think that my colleagues, John Cornyn and Bill Cassidy, know better and should have known better than to be willing to vote to confirm him. President Trump ran on an election of grievance and a commitment to impose costs on his political enemies and he’s carrying that out. Ever since Watergate, we’ve had a bipartisan commitment to an independent Department of Justice, to attorneys general who don’t just do the president’s bidding, but who protect the American people, serve justice, and protect the Constitution. That’s not what Todd Blanche has done.”

He added, “As acting attorney general, he badly fumbled and mishandled the rollout of the Epstein files. He mishandled it in a way that hurt Epstein’s victims and helped Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted sex trafficker who was one of Jeffrey Epstein’s top accomplices. He advanced the anti-weaponization fund. This $1.8 billion slush fund. That’s a terrible idea. And frankly, that my colleagues and friends, John Cornyn and Bill Cassidy, except this paper thin excuse of

Art Laffer, of the Laffer Curve, Sounds Warning on UK Taxes Pushing Away Talent and Strangling the Economy

Britain could be wealthy and great again, but is held back by being grossly overtaxed, famed economist Art Laffer, the creator of the Laffer Curve, has warned the UK’s new left-wing Prime Minister Andy Burnham.

Arthur Laffer, the American economist who advised Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, and now President Donald Trump and who is perhaps best known generally for his Laffer Curve theory that there is a maximum effective tax rate in any economy, beyond which government takings actually fall even as demands rise, has warned the British government it’s on the wrong side of that gradient.

Noting that the British government has already scared away many high earners — and many of those “wonderful people” to the United States — Laffer said rationalising the tax code and cutting several unjust and unwise taxes could see people flood back, and foster a return to greatness for moribund Britain. Laffer told The Times: “Britain should be great again… and it's all taxes and regulations that have been just killing you. It's so sad because you have the potential to be rich and prosperous and just at the same time. And you're missing these opportunities.”

Mexico Arrests Former Governor for Alleged Cover-Up of 2014 Student Massacre

Authorities in Mexico arrested a former governor in connection with the cover-up of an infamous massacre where police forces kidnapped 43 education students during a protest. The police turned them over to cartel gunmen who are believed to have slaughtered them and disposed of their bodies.

The arrest took place on Wednesday afternoon in Mexico State when authorities arrested Angel Aguirre, who was the governor of Guerrero in 2014 at the time of the massacre. He is accused of helping to cover up the incident. Soon after the arrest, Mexico's Attorney General Ernestina Godoy released a video on social media where she provided details of the case and what led authorities to move against Aguirre.

Known as the Ayotzinapa massacre, the kidnapping and murders happened in September 2014, when a group of student stole some buses to make their way to a protest. As Breitbart Texas reported, along the way, Mexican authorities shot at the buses and kidnapped the students, only to

Russian Attacks Kill Four in Kyiv and Surrounding Region as Air Defenses Fall Short

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) – Four people, including a child, were killed in Russian attacks on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, and the surrounding region, local officials said Saturday, as Ukraine hit another oil refinery in Russia.

Residents endure regular drone and missile barrages that Kyiv´s depleted air defenses are struggling to counter amid Moscow’s 4-year-old full-scale invasion, while repeated Ukrainian strikes on oil facilities have caused fuel shortages and rattled Russians.

Two grandparents and their 3-year-old grandson were killed after multiple Russian drones destroyed their home in the Brovary district of Kyiv region, northeast of the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, early Saturday.

Three other members of the same family and a neighbor who came to their aid were hospitalized, local authorities said. The attack reduced the house to rubble and wrecked outbuildings and cars.

In the city of Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at least one other person died in a “strike involving six ballistic missiles against civilian infrastructure.”

In its daily report, Ukraine´s air force said it had downed or intercepted 135 of 151 drones launched by Russia overnight. The attack also involved six ballistic missiles
