Liberal podcaster Jennifer Welch joked about 'digging up Charlie Kirk and doing it again' as she gloated over huge Democratic wins in the midterm elections.
Welch mocked the conservative commentator's assassination on the Thursday episode of her podcast, I've Had It, as she and co-host Angie Sullivan said the midterms wipeout represented a cultural shift for the nation.
Reading aloud their favorite social media jokes about the return of 'Woke 3.0', Welch began with President Trump-style renaming of landmarks, such as 'Pronoun Park' and 'Trans Towers.'
'You can't even fathom the pronouns we're going to invent. You can't even pronounce them,' she continued, reading off X posts ridiculing Republican losses.
'They're going to give newborn babies septum piercings at the hospital.
'Make sure you open that b*tch up on Sundays from here on out, Chick-fil-A.
'No more Sunday school homophobes. No more. No more mega church Sunday school homophobes.'
In her final joke from the list, Welch and Sullivan could hardly contain their laughter as the host read: 'We're digging up Charlie Kirk and doing it again.'

The hosts wept with laughter at the joke about Kirk's assassination, as they giggled for over 20 seconds before Welch said, 'No comment, no comment on that one.'
She then added that Charlie Kirk was 'shot by a MAGA person... white person, white MAGA family.'
Welch was referring to the suspect who has been charged with Kirk's September 2025 assassination, Tyler Robinson, 22. Robinson has not espoused MAGA views, and prosecutors allege he confessed to killing the conservative activist because he 'had enough of his hatred.'

Welch then basked in the victories from liberals across the country, as she praised the mocking jokes people made about the Republican wipeouts.
'People are so f***ing clever. I love this country. I'm a patriot. I am a f***ing patriot. These people make me patriotic,' she said.
'Fox News makes me hate America, right? These people make me love it. Love it.'
The moment quickly went viral across social media as Welch's remarks were met with fierce backlash.
Turning Point USA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet, a close friend of Kirk's, responded on X: 'I don't know where, when, or how, whether in this life or the next, but Jennifer Welch will regret being an ugly, demonic witch who laughs at the murder of an innocent man.'

Political commentator Rita Panahi branded Welch and Sullivan 'thoroughly disgusting' for the moment, as she said they are 'the monsters who think they are your moral superiors.'
Journalist Glenn Greenwald also condemned the podcast hosts, writing on X: 'Very few on the left will object to this even on just basic decency or humanity grounds.
'Even if it's just to say: maybe we shouldn't publicly cackle and celebrate when someone is fatally shot in the neck? -- because online group-think means they'll be castigated by their audience and other commentators and they don't have the courage to endure even that kind of trivial criticism.'
