Rosie O'Donnell may already be preparing to abandon her self-imposed exile in Ireland after Democrats swept the midterm elections and seized control of Congress.
The far-left comedian fled the country following Trump's return to the White House, saying she could not bear to live in a country in which he was president.
Less than two years later, she is considering coming back.
Speaking to The Washington Post following Tuesday's Democratic landslide, O'Donnell revealed that the results had prompted her to consider returning to New York.

Dublin is “beautiful — we love it here, but my family’s not here,” she told The Post. https://t.co/BartbomLdF
O'Donnell said she woke at around 3 am in Dublin, checked the results and began crying after learning Democrats had captured both the House and Senate.
She also admitted that life in Ireland has meant being separated from much of her family.
"I miss my grown kids," he said. "I miss my grandson that was born six months ago."
Taking to social media, O'Donnell declared that the "Trump regime is over."
"Thank you America," she said. "We gave a very loud and clear message to Trump and his sycophants, his criminal friends [that] we've had enough."

The prospective U-turn is particularly striking because the politician who supposedly drove O'Donnell from the country has not gone anywhere.
Trump remains president until January 2029.
O'Donnell's feud with Trump stretches back nearly two decades, but intensified dramatically following his return to power.
Earlier this year, Trump even publicly floated revoking O'Donnell's citizenship.
"Because of the fact that Rosie O'Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship." he wrote on Truth Social at the time.
"She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her," he continued.
Yet Democratic control of Congress apparently makes Trump's America considerably more tolerable.
O'Donnell has not announced a final decision and remains in Ireland for now.
