Kamala Harris hit the bar last weekend while stumping for New Hampshire Democratic Senate candidate Chris Pappas, and it was as bad as one would expect.
During her speech at Feathered Friend Brewing in Concord, Harris went on a rage against Trump, crying out that Democrats have been "pissed," "depressed," "angry," and "frustrated."
She also joked about cursing the television and throwing things at it.
"So, for the last year and a half, we have been pissed. We've been depressed. We've been angry! We've been frustrated! We've been feeling alone, hopeless, powerless. We've gone through the last year and a half, where many of us, whether we admit it or not, have been saying things to the television that we would not say where we pray," she said.
"Some of us have been throwing things. Hey guys, that phase is over. That phase is over."
"That phase where we felt hopeless and powerless is over because let's keep in mind something New Hampshire knows quite well: the founders, the founders imagined a moment like this. They imagined a moment where there would be a tyrant in office. They imagined a moment where there would be feckless people who are supposed leaders who bend a knee at the foot of the tyrant. They imagined this moment, and so they created these three co-equal branches of government with the idea that there would be checks and balances," Harris continued.
She went on to give a word salad about the checks and balances in the Constitution and standing up to the "tyranny" and "brutality," while slamming the Supreme Court.
