Abdul El-Sayed has just created a new rule for Democrats: Never, ever talk to Ross Douthat during the week of an election.
Douthat: What happens with transgender kids on sports teams? These are places where rights are in conflict. What do you think happens there?
El-Sayed: I don't know that that's actually true. I think we manufacture these social issues. Cause here's the thing about it. Ross, you have an iPhone in your pocket probably ... You can get access to everything and anything in the whole world ... The notion that somehow you are going to prevent your child from being exposed to something that you may find disagreeable and you think that that's going to be because of school is so profoundly outdated ... The most important thing you can do is not protect your child from seeing a thing, it's about trying to make sure ... that you're engaging with them.
We don't have to keep naked, gender-confused boys out of the ladies' locker room because ... the internet exists?
I guess we'll just pretend like the Loudoun County trans rape cases don't exist? We'll pretend like 99% of men who think they're "trans" aren't porn-addicted perverts?
Your little girl lives with the internet, so predatory men should be able to be naked around them?
Good answer, Abdulrahman!
Oh, and there's more from this interview. Watch THIS:
Does Palestine have a right to exist? Yes. No qualifiers. No question about it.
Israel? Well, you see, yes, but it's complicated.
Douthat just lets Abdul do all the talking and dig his own grave with this one.
No wonder Abdul's primary opponent just endorsed his GOP challenger:
