The military base formerly known as Joint Base Charleston in South Carolina has been named after the late Lindsey Graham.
To state the obvious, Graham would absolutely love this. Dude spent 33 years in the military and his time in Washington as a politician was spent with the military always in mind.
Here's Treasury Secretary Bessent:
Joint Base Graham is the backbone of Air Force's C-17 fleet, the workhorse of our air defense... From today forward, these planes will have Joint Base Graham on their tail — a reminder that Sen. Graham was the American people's workhorse.
And of course, we must complete the work Graham had in mind for America.
There's almost no way they were going to let Lindsey Graham's name not go on a military base.
