Police arrest two suspects who shot up home of Georgia secretary of state communications director

Cops have nabbed two suspects accused of shooting up the home of Robert Sinners, the communications director for Georgia's secretary of state last week. A third man seen on video has not been arrested, and has not been officially identified as a suspect.

Just some mostly peaceful stuff happening in Georgia here!

Now, this took place in Atlanta, so it's entirely possible this was not politically motivated at all. It could have been just your normal weeknight in the ATL.

Here's WSB-TV in Atlanta with more details from last week's shooting:

Channel 2's Michael Seiden visited the home on Thursday, where Sinners pointed out bullet holes stretching from the front of the house to the kitchen. Several rounds pierced walls and windows, and one even struck a board game inside the home.
'We're still confused why 30 shots hit our house last night,' Sinners said. 'Scariest thing we've ever had happen to us.'
He confirmed to Channel 2's Justin Gray that he was home when the shots were fired.
Sinners said he initially thought there were only a handful of bullet holes.
'First I saw one gunshot, and then I saw another, and another,' he said. 'Today, as we've counted up, there are at least 30 gunshot holes in the side of my house.'

30 gunshots into his house while he was at home, and somehow they all missed him.

(Yeah, we're all thinking the same thing.)

Neighbor Mike Jordan said he was inside rocking his 10-month-old baby to sleep when the gunfire erupted.
'So I gave my wife the baby. Once I gave her the baby, I came outside,' said Jordan.
By the time Jordan reached his front yard, he said he saw two men running through the neighborhood.
Jordan said he continued watching the men as officers responded to the area.
Atlanta police said officers located two men matching witness descriptions after a brief foot chase. Investigators arrested 26-year-old Gregory O'Neal Vaughn and 29-year-old Jermaine Darcel Howard. Police said officers also recovered a firearm and multiple rounds of ammunition.

Police have not named a motive in the shooting, and the investigation is still ongoing.
