Authorities have identified the individual involved in the early morning security breach at Mar-a-Lago as Austin Tucker Martin, a 21-year-old from Cameron, North Carolina.

Martin, described as a white male and U.S. citizen, had been reported missing by his family several days prior to the incident. Investigators believe he traveled south from North Carolina and acquired a shotgun during the journey, as a box for the weapon was later found in his vehicle.

An armed man was shot and killed by law enforcement in the early hours of the morning Sunday after he unlawfully entered the secure perimeter of President Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

The intruder, described as a male in his 20’s, was armed with a shotgun and a fuel can when he attempted to enter the property around 1:30 a.m., Eastern Time. He was then shot and killed by U.S. Secret Service agents and a deputy with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), according to a press release from the U.S. Secret Service.

Over a 17-year career entirely with Pittsburgh, Mazeroski established himself as the gold standard for defensive second basemen. He won eight Gold Glove Awards, the most by any second baseman at the time, and participated in a record 1,706 double plays for the position.
