‘They want blood’: U.S. Sen. Elissa Slotkin travels to Europe to learn ‘Gestapo tactics’ to punish Republicans, admits it on hidden camera

Democrat U.S. Sen. Elissa Slotkin, the junior senator from Michigan, recently was caught threatening young Americans with investigations and prosecutions if they decided they wanted to work in the

administration of a Republican president.

She said prosecuting some people will provide a “deterrent” message to others.

Now it has been revealed she is far more into the ideology of investigating and prosecuting political opponents than most. So much so that she admits she recently traveled to Hungary, where Victor Orban, a longtime, democracy-linked political leader, recently was ousted from power.

She explained she discussed with activists there how they were responding to a political foe they arbitrarily banned from ever holding his office again.

She said what she learned was to assemble a “list of like signature cases.”

She alleged they document “corruption.” And she cited President Donald Trump’s repair work at the Reflecting Pool in Washington and his plans for a much-needed ballroom facility for state events at the White House.

She said based on that “corruption,” “We will have in every committee there will be the signature cases that will … where we hold people accountable.”

A column in the Washington Examiner explained, “Hungary under Prime Minister Péter Magyar has become such a blueprint for leftists’ schemes to persecute and jail opponents the minute they get power that Michigan Sen. Elissa Slotkin, the leading U.S. proponent of such Gestapo tactics, just got caught on hidden camera admitting she recently came here to take notes.”

Columnist Mike Gonzalez explained he was in Budapest for the launch of a book. He visited friends.

“To a man they warned me that what happens here will happen in the United States because the Left here is as blinded with hate about the man Magyar defeated, Viktor Orbán, as U.S. liberals are about President Donald Trump,” he explained.

A writer, Gergely Szilvay, confirmed, “They want blood.” And he said they intend to throw as many from Orban’s party in prison as possible.

Slotkin had been asked about holding Trump’s “collaborators” responsible.

“So basically, assuming we win both houses, even if we just win one, we'll come up — we have a list of, like, the 'signature cases,'” she said. “I just went to Hungary. I went over to Budapest in Hungary because they just got rid of their authoritarian leader after 16 years. And I'm like, how did you handle 16 years of corruption? We don't have that much, but we have so much.”

The commentary explained Hungary officials changed the law so Orban never could return to office.

And radicals there then went after its president, Tamás Sulyok, “setting aside constitutional niceties to make sure he could bag him.”

The president was thrown out on the grounds of a “serious loss of confidence.”

Magyar followed with orchestrated attacks on “the small fish,” evidenced by a “long list” of officials targeted for jail.

That is being addressed with “investigations with unsubstantiated suspicions of the perpetration of a crime,” the commentary explained, and newly created there is a government power to compel people to “inform” on others.

The commentary noted that Democrats in America already have tried this agenda against Trump, and failed. And similar schemes are appearing in France, in Brazil.

“Lawfare is now seen as an almost acceptable part of politics, rather than the unseemly retribution and revenge-taking that should be shunned by sophisticated societies.,” the commentary said.
