Another prominent CNN personality is heading for the exit as veteran anchor Bianna Golodryga announced Thursday that she is leaving the network after nine years, becoming the second major on-air figure to reveal departure plans this week.
Golodryga, 48, broke the news on X, revealing that an unexpected career opportunity had convinced her to move on from the cable news giant.
"After nine wonderful years at CNN, I've decided to leave for an opportunity that I couldn't pass up," she wrote.
The longtime journalist offered no immediate details about her next job, leaving viewers guessing about where she might land.
"I'm grateful for the experiences, friendships and support from fabulous colleagues during my CNN years," Golodryga continued.
She ended her announcement with a brief teaser.

According to the New York Post, CNN CEO Mark Thompson informed employees of Golodryga's departure Thursday morning, shortly before she made the announcement public.

Australian Broadcasting Corporation reporter Will Murray and bystander Daniel Hainey sprang into action after watching a vehicle become submerged in rapidly rising floodwaters near Brisbane.
The dramatic rescue unfolded on Buchanan Road in Morayfield, Queensland, where torrential rainfall had transformed a roadway into a dangerous stretch of deep water.
According to ABC News, the driver attempted to cross the flooded road at speed before his vehicle stalled and began sinking.
Murray, who was covering the severe weather alongside camera operator Liz Pickering, witnessed the frightening incident unfold.

U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro filed the motion Wednesday to oppose requests by several media outlets to unseal records connected to the search of Omar's Washington home. Prosecutors said investigators had not finished executing the warrant.
"Before the Court are three Applications to unseal ex parte materials and proceedings related to a federal search warrant for the personal residence in the District of Columbia of Congresswoman Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar…" the motion begins.
Omar has not been charged with a crime. The use of another name in the filing does not establish fraud, and the allegations have not been proven in court.

President Donald Trump delivered a stern warning to members of his own administration Thursday, declaring that anyone caught engaging in dishonest conduct should face prosecution, regardless of their political connections or relationship with the White House.
