President Trump has another championship trophy for the collection — and he earned this one at 80 years old.
Trump announced Sunday that he won the Bedminster Club Championship with a score of 70. He also shared the winning putt as it rolled across the green and dropped into the cup.
The shot speaks for itself:

Score of 70!
While running the free world.
While dealing with missiles, negotiations, and a country that never sleeps.
He barely gets time to practice… and still beats the field.
His words: “It’s called… pic.twitter.com/QYALQV101A
Trump thanked everyone who competed and noted that the presidency does not exactly leave him with endless hours to practice.
Then came the line that turned a championship announcement into pure Trump.
Trump’s victory message says it all.
“I won with a score of 70,” Trump said before explaining that he gets very little practice time because he is focused on other responsibilities.
His conclusion was vintage Trump: “It’s called TALENT, and I have it, and they don’t!”
Confident, blunt, and delivered immediately after a winning putt. Nobody could mistake that statement for anyone else’s.
Here is the full message with another look at the finish:
🚨🗣️🇺🇸 #NEW — Trump on his win: “I won with a score of 70, and am so honored in that, unlike the rest of the field, I'm given very little time to practice, because I'm focused on many other things. It's called TALENT, and I have it, and they don't!” pic.twitter.com/PkQAHMHRKp

Bedminster is about to take center stage.
The timing makes the win even more interesting.
Trump Golf’s official tournament calendar says LIV Golf New York will be played at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster from August 6 through August 9.
The organization describes Bedminster as one of the East Coast’s most prestigious venues, with leading players set to compete for crucial points before LIV’s individual and team championships. That means the course where Trump just posted his own winning round will become one of the biggest stages in professional golf only days later.
The same official history shows that Bedminster hosted the 2017 U.S. Women’s Open and LIV events in 2022 and 2023. Henrik Stenson won there in 2022, while Cameron Smith took the 2023 individual title.
The 2026 return adds another high-profile chapter to that record. It also puts President Trump’s latest club win directly beside a week when the professional golf world will be watching the same property.
LIV Golf’s official event page confirms the four-day tournament and says the field will include stars such as Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau.
The event will combine team competition, shotgun starts, fan zones, live music, and hospitality around the course. Bedminster is preparing for a major golf showcase just outside New York City.
General-admission ticket holders will be able to follow the action alongside the fairways, while the four-day schedule is designed to keep play moving across the course from the opening shotgun start. The official page lists the venue at 900 Lamington Road in Bedminster, New Jersey.
LIV says the New York stop comes during the closing stretch of its 2026 season, when players are still fighting for position before the individual and team championships. That gives the upcoming week real competitive weight beyond the music and festival atmosphere.
Before that crowd arrives, however, President Trump already gave the club a memorable championship moment of its own.
The score was 70. The reaction was unmistakably Trump.
