In Over Her Head, Katie Zacharia- Media Sharks Smell Blood

Katie Zacharia lasted five days as White House Press Secretary. She was in over her head from the first minute. Nervous, underprepared, and the media smelled blood in the water the moment she stepped to the podium. Karoline Leavitt left big shoes to fill. Zacharia never got close.
Her first briefing ran 14 minutes and three questions. Sean Hannity, normally a friendly face, went hard on her. The sharks circled fast. Bar exam questions. Awkward answers. Old posts. The usual pile-on.
President Trump's response was clear:
"Katie's been treated very badly by the media. Very, very badly. Very unfairly, I think."
He added: "I said, 'is this for you, Katie? Because honestly, you don't need this!'" and "If I were you, I'd reconsider. You got a beautiful husband and family."
Trump has known her from television for years. He watched the same briefing everyone else did and decided the job was not worth the beating. Half a Scaramucci. The record is broken.
The media does not do mercy when they think they have an opening. They never have. They never will.
