Obama hit the trail for Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed last Saturday and immediately made it about Trump. Because of course he did.

The former president said Trump's White House looked like "Saddam Hussein opened a cheesecake factory." This from the guy whose presidential library looks like Darth Vader's trash bin with better lighting. Trump lives rent-free in Obama's head. The man cannot stop talking about him.

Then Obama defended Iran and claimed the war left them in a "stronger strategic position" because they now have "veto power over the Strait of Hormuz." Stronger position? Brit Hume summed it up: nothing says stronger strategic position like losing your navy and air force, having your shipping route blockaded, and watching your economy freefall.

Obama just can't stop. The same smooth delivery, the same selective facts, the same habit of blaming everyone else while the results sit right there.

We suggest he grab a slice of that cheesecake, head back to the trash-bin library, and sit this one out. The rest of us will keep the lights on.
