The House passed the SAVE Act, which mandates voter ID and proof of citizenship. No more loopholes that allow non-citizens to vote...
in our elections.
Bipartisan? Yes.
Common sense? Absolutely.
Overdue? For years.
UPDATE: Senate Majority Leader John Thune
is now cosponsoring the SAVE America Act. This is a developing story and may change.
The SAVE Act heads to the Senate, where the turtle crawl begins. Mitch McConnell’s ancient, creaky shell is moving at a standstill toward the finish line, while Senate Majority Leader John Thune acts as a jockey yelling, “Whoa there! Slow down, old boy! We’ve got all the time in the world!” Meanwhile, 46 senators (and counting) have already co-sponsored the bill. The MAGA Republicans are pulling a taut rope with everything they’ve got, but the turtle is barely moving. Why the delay?
The RINOs are dithering because the passage of real election integrity means admitting the current system has holes big enough to drive a non-citizen voting caravan through.
It means facing the rampant fraud that is mail-in chaos, no-ID policies, and lax enforcement that always benefits the Democrat candidates.
The SAVE Act isn’t radical—It’s basic.
We salute the tireless work of Scott Presler and Rep. Mike Lee of convincing the GOP congress to pass the SAVE Act.
Well done!

It states: If one wants to vote in American elections, one should be an American citizen—with proof of citizenship.
Yet somehow, that simple idea has the Senate Turtle Squad clutching their pearls and hitting the brakes.
The finish line is right there…the momentum for the bill would be irresistible if only the anti-Trumpers in the Republican Party would cease dragging their feet.
